I don’t think I can complain about any day on this trip–but today has by far been one I will remember for the rest of my life.
We started out visiting caves near the beaches we were going to visit later in the day (don’t get me wrong, I love the scenery in the caves, however I get extremely claustrophobic and the cave was creeping me out a bit)…but I don’t want to waste a minute of my time in Spain.
Of course, if you send Florida kids to the beach they’ll be happy…and happy we were. I stepped onto the burning hot sand and felt like I was back home, but 1000 times prettier. There’s nothing better than being able to say “I’m in the Mediterranean!”
The views, the sun, the crystal clear water, it was all so perfect.
Then the day got interesting. We saw some people jumping off a nearby cliff–so some of us set out to do the same. After scaling some rocks and climbing down this ‘cliff’ we gathered the courage to do the most incredible thing of the trip-jump into the Mediterranean. By far the best day of the trip so far.
After the trip back to Granada we celebrated with gelato from Los Italianos, a famed gelato shop that is said to have been visited by Michelle Obama.
